Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FTS Outdoors platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
Independent Organization
FTS Outdoors is an independent nonprofit organization and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Scouting America, the Boy Scouts of America, or any of their councils.
Purpose of the Platform
The platform is provided as a digital tool to assist youth organizations in managing activities such as attendance, inspections, inventory, and leadership development. The platform is informational and organizational in nature and does not replace the judgment, supervision, or responsibility of adult leaders or governing bodies.
Adult Supervision and Responsibility
Use of the platform by youth members must occur under the authorization and supervision of adult leadership. Each organization and its adult leaders are solely responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision, safety, and compliance with all applicable policies and laws.
Outdoor Activities and Risk
FTS Outdoors supports outdoor and leadership development activities that may involve inherent risks. The platform does not monitor, manage, or control activities, safety procedures, transportation, or supervision. All risk management and safety decisions remain the responsibility of the participating organization and its leadership.
Accuracy and Data
FTS Outdoors does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information entered into the platform. Users are responsible for verifying records and ensuring data accuracy.
Equipment and Inventory
The equipment and inventory features are provided for tracking and organizational purposes only. FTS Outdoors is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or mismanaged equipment, nor for disputes between users or organizations.
Service Availability
The platform is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data availability, or error-free performance.
Acceptable Use
Users agree not to misuse the platform, interfere with services, attempt unauthorized access, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FTS Outdoors and its officers, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the platform.
Indemnification
Users and participating organizations agree to indemnify and hold harmless FTS Outdoors from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from their use of the platform or their activities.
Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
