FTS Outdoors operates this application and is committed to protecting the privacy of all users. We limit data collection to what is necessary to operate and improve the platform.

Who Uses This Application

This application is designed for use by adult leaders and authorized youth members (such as Senior Patrol Leaders) within participating youth organizations. Access is managed and controlled by authorized adult leadership.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to support the operation of the platform:

Account Information

  • Email address
  • Display name or full name (if provided)

Organization and Role Information

  • Troop or organization number
  • City and state (if entered)
  • Role within the organization (for example: admin, leader, youth leader, or member)

Activity and Program Data

  • Inspection records and scores
  • Dates of activities or inspections
  • Identification of the authorized user who created or modified records

We do not collect birthdates, home addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or advertising and marketing data.

Youth Privacy

Youth users may access this application only as part of an authorized organization and under the supervision of adult leadership. Youth accounts are limited in scope and typically include only a display name and role. Information entered by youth users relates solely to program activities and organizational operations.

Children's Privacy and COPPA Compliance

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without authorization and supervision from an adult leader or parent/guardian. Youth access is managed and approved by organizational leadership. If we become aware that information has been collected from a child without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to remove that information.

How We Use Information

We use collected information only to:

  • Authenticate users
  • Associate users with their organization and role
  • Display inspection history, activity tracking, and reports
  • Maintain system integrity, security, and functionality

We do not use personal information for advertising, profiling, or data sales.

Data Storage and Processing

Authentication and data storage are provided by Supabase, a third-party service provider. Data is stored securely and accessed only by authorized users within an organization. Administrative functions are restricted to designated adult roles.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users and organization administrators are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and ensuring that only authorized individuals have access.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be shared only:

  • With trusted service providers such as Supabase for authentication and hosting
  • When required by law or legal process

Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as organizational and user accounts remain active. Authorized administrators may remove users and revoke access at any time.

User Responsibility

Organizational leaders and administrators are responsible for managing user access and ensuring that only authorized individuals, including youth members under appropriate supervision, are permitted to use the platform.

Your Choices

Users may update their display name or profile information. Users may also request account removal through their organization's leadership.

Service Availability

This application is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Temporary outages, maintenance, or third-party service interruptions may occur.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.

By accessing or using this application, users and participating organizations agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
